Immersion observation hive

Check out this for an observation hive.

.... a man standing unprotected in a cage full of bees whilst inspecting frames and talking about bees to visitors. Cool!

Perhaps I'll leave replicating this feat till I'm a little more experienced, though!

  1. Hi Kenzie. I was just taking a break from the garden and saw a new post from you on my sidebar. As I read, I thought, that sounds like what I had just seen recently. Imagine my surprise when I clicked on and there was Walter Bee! How cool.

This really was an amazing demonstration, but I'm like you, I'm not quite ready to literally jump into a hive of bees.

Even though I had recently sworn I was not going to follow anymore blogs, I'm enjoying yours. I'm finding it very interesting that beekeepers all around the world face much the same challenges as I do.

  2. Yeah - I know what you mean about these blogs - I am really enjoying doing mine but it is quite a bit of effort and I can see that yours and many others are lovely and must take quite some time too. To be frank I'd rather be looking after the bees! But it is wonderful, interesting and most informative to read about everyone elses comments, and comforting that my experiences do not seem too unusual at all!
